Ancient Temple Ruins - II
Story - Girl who was born and brought up in India listening to a lot of mythological stories, grows up and sets foot to unravel the secrets of unexplored lands and places where gods appeared or visited once. She's on her quest to Make the unknown known.
In previous shots I tried to show design of the exterior of this temple, with this shot I tried to designe an another part of temple which is called kund also known as sarovara, tirtha, talab, pukhuri, ambalakkulam etc in different languages of india. Its basically a tank or small reservoir or a pool built inside a temple complex. These tanks are used for ritual cleansing and during rites of consecration. Over time these tanks has become an art form itself. The temple complex consists of an open courtyard surrounded by a colonnade which opens on to these tanks.
